Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape the future of our Direct-to-Consumer businesses—PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct, in a hybrid role based in San Mateo, CA.

You will translate business needs into clear requirements for Product, Engineering, Analytics and Data Science, guiding cross-functional teams to design and build ecommerce solutions that meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Business Analysis within digital commerce, subscriptions, retail or related fields.
• Experience planning and leading business analysis for complex initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Analytics and Data Science to design and deliver commerce products.
• Understanding ecommerce customer journeys and operational processes.
• Ability to engage business leaders and reconcile changing priorities.
• Experience mapping and improving complex business processes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally / across regions.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into clear, structured and testable business requirements for Product and Engineering.
• Structure ambiguous problems with leaders and experts and translate objectives into outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure requirements are fulfilled.
• Assess how proposed changes affect customers and business operations.
• Map current and future business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Test hypotheses and build the case for change with analytics teams.
• Influence senior stakeholders with structured problem framing and evidence.
• Share BA practices to ensure team quality and consistency.
