Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support legacy applications within the Jacksonville (JAX) manufacturing IT ecosystem. You will collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, Product Owners, and project teams to analyze processes, define requirements, assess impacts, and assist with testing, validation, and deployment.

The role focuses on leading requirements gathering, documenting as-is and to-be states, data-flow mapping, and ensuring traceability and release

Qualifications

• Strong experience in business and system requirements analysis.
• Skilled in As-Is/To-Be process mapping and legacy systems analysis.
• Hands-on with creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining requirements in JIRA.
• Knowledge of impact analysis, change management, and requirements traceability.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect analysis, testing, and release readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering for JAX legacy applications.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Map data-flow and system-flow across legacy and target apps.
• Translate needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain requirements and backlogs in JIRA.
• Facilitate requirements reviews and backlog grooming with teams.
• Analyze impacts and dependencies across interfacing systems.
• Manage approved changes and assess scope/design/testing impact.
• Support UAT planning, test scenarios, defect clarification, and traceability.
• Escalate gaps, risks, and decisions with Product Owner and Technical Lead.
