Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; certification preferred.
Five years of relevant experience as a business analyst in insurance or related industry.
Proven ability to document requirements and translate them into specifications and user stories.
Strong knowledge of SAFE Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

Works with project management to ensure delivery according to project timelines. Coordinates with stakeholders to define go-live activities and tracks progress.
Develops and executes presentations; facilitates meetings and communicates with business owners and stakeholders.
Manages the project plan; provides tasks, dates, and resource responsibilities and reports progress.
Creates functional specifications and user stories from business requirements for development consumption.
Collaborates with business owners to gather requirements and translate them into process specifications and applicable functionality.
Translates requirements with technical staff to produce system functionality documents and align expectations.
Updates project documentation and places it in Confluence for written records of activities.
Represents the business as the subject matter expert in the work stream; supports release management.
Supports product strategy by staying aligned with roadmaps and release processes.
