Job summary

Brooksource seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis for modernization and a full rewrite of enterprise .NET applications. The BA3 bridges business/program and software development teams to ensure alignment, traceability from intake through delivery.

Responsibilities include eliciting, documenting and validating requirements, creating user stories and process maps, and guiding data migration planning and testing coordination across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Elicitation and documentation of requirements.
• Interviews with program teams and stakeholders.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Document current and future state workflows.
• Model processes with Visio or similar tools.
• Support data migration planning and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, documentation and validation of requirements (business, functional, non-functional).
• Facilitate interviews and working sessions with program teams and stakeholders.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
• Document current state workflows, system dependencies and processes.
• Design future state workflows aligned with modernization goals and .NET changes.
• Create process maps and diagrams using Visio and modeling tools.
• Support QA testing, UAT coordination, defect triage and validation of fixes.
• Communicate project status, risks and decisions to PM and leadership.
