Job summary

ICF is seeking a Business Analyst to elicit and document business requirements, translate them into user stories, and support various delivery methodologies from a remote location in the United States. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with emphasis on stakeholder facilitation and process improvement.

You will collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with client needs and organizational goals, while helping with planning, risk, and resource management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Management Analyst, or related role.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience gathering and managing business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and project documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist with project planning, scoping, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Support cost, risk, resource, and issue management efforts.
• Develop and maintain project management templates, frameworks, and documentation standards.
• Create and maintain process flows, workflow documentation, and business process models.
• Support backlog management and prioritization activities.
• Prepare meeting materials, status reports, action items, and project communications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements and organizational objectives.
