Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for a fully remote role with travel required. The candidate will translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and drive high-quality deliverables. Expect to engage across reports, data analysis, and product delivery while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Ideal candidates bring 5-7 years of BA experience, Medicaid Enterprise Systems exposure, and strong English communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical organization; Medicaid Enterprise Systems experience highly desired.
• Strong communication skills using the English language (written and verbal), including presentation skill.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of a variety of reports and surveys.
• Publish results for internal and external clients.
• Work with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and validate data collection methods used in reporting projects.
• Evaluate data quality, applications and functions, produce output, maintain reporting operations and documentation.
• Research new data sources and analytical tools.
• Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
• Develop and maintain processes for managing requirements, business processes, and production support.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management and/or the client as appropriate.
• Analyze existing systems, programs, policies, and processes and recommend enhancements and improved solutions.
• Manage efficient execution of business meetings with internal staff, clients and vendors.
• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems and document best practices.
