Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a fully remote role with up to 10% travel. The candidate will translate client and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements, user stories, and test criteria, working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality systems and reports.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of BA experience in technical environments, strong English communication, and the ability to manage requirements and documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience as a BA in a technical organization; Medicaid Enterprise Systems experience highly desired.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for system development.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, test cases, and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and development to define system requirements and success factors.
• Develop business requirements and translate into system requirements for development teams.
• Create and maintain production of reports and data sources supporting decision making.
• Document best practices and measure outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management and clients.
