Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Professional Services in Plano, TX. This hands-on role focuses on documenting current processes, identifying gaps, and translating insights into clear SOPs and procedures for delivery teams.

The candidate will conduct stakeholder interviews, model processes with BPMN 2.0, and maintain comprehensive BA artifacts to support enterprise transformation initiatives. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a BA/Business Process Analyst role.
• Experience documenting current-state business processes and gathering requirements.
• BPMN 2.0 process modeling with swimlanes and gateways.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and SOPs used by business teams.
• Facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.
• Strong process-mapping using BPMN tools (bpmn.io, draw.io, Visio).
• Maintaining requirements logs, decision logs, issue trackers, and related artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions across Professional Services.
• Document current-state processes and translate findings into complete process documentation and SOPs.
• Develop actionable SOPs and work instructions, validated with process owners.
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for standardization.
• Maintain and update published process documentation as models evolve.
• Gather and analyze requirements across stakeholders, distinguishing true requirements.
• Maintain structured BA artifacts: logs, assumptions, decisions, action trackers.
• Review existing docs and ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Validate AI-assisted documentation against source material.
• Prepare summaries and impact assessments for leadership and transformation initiatives.
