Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Business Analyst to support a long-term Business Process Management transformation in Minneapolis, onsite four days per week. You will collaborate across business, operations, quality engineering, and technology teams to manage requirements, Jira stories, testing, releases, and operational processes within an agile framework.

The ideal candidate has hands-on BA experience with Jira/Agile, strong Excel skills, and the ability to write SQL queries.

Job description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a long-term Business Process Management (BPM) transformation. This role will work across business, operations, quality engineering, and technology teams to manage requirements, Jira stories, testing, releases, and operational processes.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on BA with strong Jira/Agile experience, Excel skills, and the ability to write SQL queries. Financial services experience is not required; strong business process and workflow experience is more important.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Jira stories, helping move prioritized work through development, testing, and release.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for BPM initiatives.
• Partner with business and operations teams to understand existing processes, identify needs, and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Support release activities, PIV testing, and UAT.
• Track issues, coordinate resolution, and help ensure the appropriate business response.
• Support operational processes, communications, and ongoing business needs.
• Work closely with BPM, Notifications & Response, Operations, QE, Product, and business partners.
• Provide cross-team BA support, with approximately 25% of the role supporting Notifications & Response.
• Help establish consistent processes and ways of working as the BPM program continues to mature.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and working within an Agile environment.
• Business Analyst experience gathering and documenting requirements and managing work through the delivery lifecycle.
• Strong Excel skills.
• SQL experience with the ability to write queries.
• Experience supporting business processes and operational workflows.
• Experience supporting UAT, testing, and releases.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale application transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience working across business, operations, and technology teams.
• Financial services or wealth management experience is helpful
