HCLTech is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Core Banking domain. The successful candidate will play a key role in refining business requirements for high-impact projects and leading stakeholders towards the company's goals.

With responsibilities that include conducting enterprise-level gap analyses and developing strategic roadmaps, applicants must demonstrate strong experience in banking products. This onsite position is exclusive for local candidates in Tysons, Virginia.

Location: Tyson VA (Onsite 100% looking for Local candidates)

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Senior Business Analyst within Core Banking / Banking Domain. Senior Business Analyst with 20 years 12+ years in the Banking Domain related too payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, collections, autos, personal loans. Senior Business Analyst to driver in defining and refining business requirements for high-impact projects. Senior Business Analyst to join HCL Tech in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Must Have Experience

• Experience Senior Business Analyst with 20 years of experience overall 12 years of experience should be in Core Banking Domain payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, collections, autos, personal loans
• Experience Senior Business Analyst who can guide / Manage Stakeholders on Banking Domain make recommendations
• Experience Senior Business Analyst who can find the loop holes in Job Description & Guide on Process Follow
• Experience Senior Business Analyst to Educate Stakeholders & Team on Core Banking and Best Practices.
• Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for 3 offshore resources & 7 onshore resources

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key driver in defining and refining business requirements for high-impact projects.
• Develop strategic roadmaps to align business goals with technological advancements and customer needs.
• Conduct enterprise-level gap analyses to identify opportunities for growth and process improvements.
• Deep understanding of banking products (payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, and mobile apps).
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-level business analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance regulations, such as UDAAP, Truth in Savings, and data security protocols.
• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.

Leadership in Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with senior executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

Banking Product Expertise

• Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for banking products, including payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, collections, autos, personal loans and mobile apps.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives focused on enhancing member experiences through improved online/mobile banking platforms, API integrations, and automation.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory and security requirements.

Process Improvement and Solution Design

• Oversee the design and implementation of optimized workflows and automated processes.
• Provide detailed business and functional specifications to guide technical teams in delivering high-quality solutions.

Tools and Technologies

• Expertise in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and wireframing tools.
• Strong data analysis skills using SQL or similar tools is a plus.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Define and oversee robust testing strategies, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure business goals are met.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure seamless implementation.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, system specifications, and user guides.
• Mentor junior analysts and other team members, sharing expertise to build a strong, collaborative team.

Key Banking Products to Support

• Payments: Real-time payments, bill pay systems, and digital payment solutions.
• Credit Cards: Card management systems, rewards platforms, and fraud prevention tools.
• Deposits: Account origination, maintenance, and digital deposit systems.
• Mortgages: Loan origination systems, underwriting workflows, and servicing platforms.
• Mobile Apps: Enhancing mobile banking functionality, customer journey mapping, and performance optimization.

Pay Range Minimum: 114,000k

Pay Range Maximum: 198,000k

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
