HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Business Analyst with 10 years’ experience and 5 years’ experience with Salesforce FSC. Business Analyst with Salesforce FSC will be key link between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Salesforce delivery teams within the Phoenix program. Position Title: Business Analyst – Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
Role Overview
- The Business Analyst (BA) will serve as the key link between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Salesforce delivery teams within the Phoenix program. The role is responsible for understanding business objectives, eliciting and documenting requirements, translating requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes across the Financial Services Cloud platform.
- The BA will work across the Front office applications, ensuring the Salesforce FSC solution supports IFC's business processes, customer engagement needs, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Requirement Discovery:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand current and future business processes.
- Gather, analyze, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend Salesforce FSC capabilities to address business challenges.
- Document business processes, pain points, data requirements, and future-state workflows.
Requirement Documentation:
- Translate business requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, Use Cases, Functional Specifications & Acceptance Criteria
- Ensure requirements are Complete, Testable, Traceable, Prioritized & Aligned to business objectives
- Map business requirements to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud features including Relationship Management, Client Engagement, Action Plans, Referral & Case Management, Service Processes & Client Lifecycle Management
Product Backlog & Agile Delivery Support:
- Work with Product Owners to create and maintain product backlogs.
- Prioritize requirements based on business value and program objectives.
- Ensure backlog items are sufficiently refined before sprint planning.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum Meetings, Backlog Refinement Sessions, Sprint Reviews & Retrospectives
- Provide business context and requirement clarification throughout sprint execution.
- Support estimation activities by collaborating with technical teams and architects.
Release Readiness:
- Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR).
- Validate completed work against Definition of Done (DoD).
- Support release planning activities.
Solution Analysis
- Partner with Salesforce Solution Architects and Developers to design scalable solutions.
- Evaluate business requirements against standard Salesforce functionality.
- Recommend configuration-first approaches before custom development.
Functional Design Activities:
- Assist in defining Object Models, Business Rules, Data Models, Automation Requirements, Workflow Requirements, Security and Access Requirements
Capability Assessment:
- Analyze whether requirements should be addressed through Standard FSC capabilities, Salesforce Configuration, Declarative Automation, Custom Lightning Components & Integrations
Design Validation:
- Review solution designs to ensure Business requirements are fully covered.
- Enterprise architecture standards are followed.
- User experience expectations are met.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership:
Business Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate decision-making and requirement prioritization discussions.
Workshop Facilitation:
- Lead Requirement Workshops, Process Mapping Sessions, Design Reviews
- Solution Walkthroughs, & UAT Workshops
Communication Management:
- Communicate impacts of scope changes.
- Present recommendations and solution options to leadership and stakeholders.
- Create executive-ready business analysis artifacts and presentations.
Process Analysis & Business Transformation:
Current State Assessment
- Document AS-IS processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Assess impact on business operations.
Future State Design:
- Develop process flows, swimlane diagrams, and business workflows.
- Recommend process standardization and automation opportunities.
Change Impact Analysis:
- Assess impacts of business and technology changes.
- Support organizational change management activities.
Testing, Validation & Quality Assurance:
Test Planning Support
Testing Activities:
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing & End-to-End Business Validation
Quality Assurance:
- Validate delivered functionality against approved requirements.
- Confirm readiness for production deployment.
- Track and resolve defects with business and technical teams.
Traceability, Governance & Compliance:
- Traceability Management
- Maintain end-to-end traceability covering Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User Stories, Test Cases & Deployment Deliverables
Documentation Governance:
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Story Catalogs, Process Maps, Data Flow Diagrams & Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Compliance Support:
- Ensure solutions adhere to IFC standards, Program governance requirements, Enterprise architecture guidelines & Data management policies

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience on Salesforce implementations.
Strong understanding of:
- Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud)
- Security Model
- Workflow & Automation Concepts
Business Analysis Skills:
- Requirement elicitation and documentation
- Process modeling and workflow design
- Gap analysis
Agile Skills:
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies

- Support successful program releases through strong analysis, testing, and governance practices.
- Enable business transformation across Relationship Management, Project Processing, and External Portal capabilities.
Pay Range Minimum: 56hr
Pay Range Maximum: 65hr

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
