Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) seeks a seasoned business systems analyst to partner with business and technology teams, analyze complex requirements, and deliver actionable, testable solutions. You’ll drive scope clarity, create robust user stories, and support data-driven decisions in a dynamic, hybrid work setting.

Required 5+ years in business systems analysis, strong Agile experience, and proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business system analysis or related field.
• Experience in Agile software development and working with remote teams.
• Clear understanding of requirements elicitation, solution evaluation and gap analysis.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira and data visualization tools.
• Preferred exposure to clearinghouse activities and complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose requirements, define data flows and system interfaces.
• Build high quality user stories and acceptance criteria for the Scrum team.
• Assist Product Owner with prioritization and backlog grooming.
• Collaborate across business and tech teams to resolve scope gaps.
• Develop UI/UX interface requirements with related teams and tools.
• Support test planning, test cases, and results verification.
• Document standards, policies, and best practices for consistency.
• Engage in ongoing agile ceremonies and cross-team collaboration.
