Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) seeks a Senior Business Analyst in Chicago to discover, synthesize, and analyze information from diverse sources and partner with business and technology teams to solve complex problems across the enterprise.

You will create BRDs, ER diagrams, data flow designs, and support SAFe planning; build quality user stories, assist test planning, and ensure traceability of requirements through implementation within a highly integrated tech platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, business analytics, or related field with 3 years of experience.
• Experience creating BRDs, ER diagrams, and SAFe coordination to deliver across product teams.
• Proficient with SQL, Tableau, R Studio, and SAS for data analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Discover, synthesize, and analyze information to solve complex business and technology problems.
• Act as a strategic partner to business and technology teams and define requirements.
• Create BRDs, ER diagrams, data flow designs, and ensure traceability from requirements to implementation.
• Support SAFe ceremonies, backlogs refinement, and cross-team collaboration.
• Document domain objects and assist in test planning and acceptance criteria.
