Job summary

The Ohio State University—University Hospital seeks a Facilities Building Systems Technician Senior to maintain and repair HVAC, BAS, boilers, chillers, and related systems. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies across campus.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in building systems or industrial maintenance, 2+ years with large-scale heating/cooling, and EPA 608 plus OSHA 10 during probation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience accepted.
• 4+ years in building systems, HVAC, or industrial/maintenance roles.
• At least 2 years working with large-scale heating/cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building HVAC, BAS, and utilities across campus.
• Respond to emergencies and support facility operations.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; perform preventive maintenance.
