Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a skilled building systems technician to maintain and repair HVAC, boilers, chillers, steam and hot water systems. You will support campus facilities operations and respond to emergencies with Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC).

Applicants should have 4+ years in building systems maintenance, familiarity with large-scale heating/cooling, and a high school diploma or GED. Ohio driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4+ years in building systems maintenance.
• Experience with large-scale heating and cooling systems (2+ years).
• EPA 608 Universal Certification obtained during probation and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, mechanical, and utility systems across campus buildings.
• Operate and monitor building automation systems (BAS/DDC).
• Respond to emergencies and support facility operations.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues.
