Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Operating Engineer in Seattle to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. On-site presence is required, with a strong focus on safety and preventive maintenance.

The role progresses from Operating Engineer with responsibilities including troubleshooting, emergency response, and day-to-day facility services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
• Strong customer service skills

• participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• other projects and tasks to be assigned
