Job summary

Newmark Group seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to manage a large Class A building in the Boston area. The role involves operating Boilers, Chillers, and HVAC systems, coordinating tenant fit-outs, and driving preventive maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of Engineering experience in large facilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance operational demands with project work and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Area specific licenses required; CFC universal preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer and e-mail skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate Boilers/Chillers/HVAC systems to approved specifications.
• Supervise/coordinate tenant fit-up work and building construction projects.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure reliability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines across operations.
• Prepare annual operating budget and support business controls.
