Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Building Structural Engineer - Technical Lead in Washington, DC. The candidate will act as the structural lead on diverse building projects, guiding framing layouts, calculations, and construction documents while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• 10+ years' experience in building/facility structural engineering.
• Experience with design and production of construction documents for structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural design within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Deliver structural scope including framing layouts, calculations, and detailing.
• Develop construction documents using Revit.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Oversee and manage project staff and resources.
• Support marketing proposals and client presentations.
