Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a talented structural engineer to join our firm. You will work on a wide range of building and facility projects, including commercial, municipal, state, and federal structures.

The role spans from initial framing layouts to construction administration, requiring a strong technical background and team-oriented collaboration across the East Coast. The position offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, education, and certifications,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
Professional Engineer License (PE).
4+ years' experience in building/facility structural engineering.
Proficient in discipline-specific design codes and software for structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.

Responsabilités

Work in a multidisciplinary design team to support structural engineering efforts.
Perform framing layout, design calculations, and detailing for deliverables (reports and construction documents).
Develop construction documents using Revit.
Design projects per client specs using design software and drawing tools.
Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
