Job summary

A leading property management firm in Boston seeks an experienced Engineer to oversee building maintenance and operations. Key responsibilities include managing engineering staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and developing capital plans for building systems. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience. The position offers a salary range of $130,000-$145,000 annually along with potential bonuses and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• 8-10 years’ experience as an Engineer in a Class A building of 250 KSF or greater.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive approach to job responsibilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and proficient computer skills.
• Area specific licenses required; CFC universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical direction for building operations and maintenance.
• Audit operations to ensure qualified personnel are in place and compliant with regulations.
• Develop effective project plans that meet objectives in cost, schedule, quality, and functionality.
• Prepare annual capital plans including item descriptions, estimated costs, and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide recommendations to management.
