Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Joliet, IL, for a seasoned candidate (10+ years) to join our facilities team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safe, reliable building operations across multiple systems. The ideal technician will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing challenges, respond to requests promptly, and coordinate with external contractors when needed.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
• EPA certification is a plus
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
