Job summary

LAUKOA in Fort Dix, NJ seeks a Headquarters Engineering Technician to support the 99th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works. You will apply engineering design and construction knowledge to develop facility repair and upgrade projects that meet safety and performance standards.

You will review designs for conformance with Army and USACE requirements, collaborate with DPW leaders and field teams, and prepare detailed project documents and cost estimates using RSMeans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project development or equivalent.
• Familiarity with building construction and utilities systems.
• Proficient with MS Office; writing sample required.
• Ability to develop cost estimates using RSMeans.

Responsibilities

• Provide project development services and prepare technical docs.
• Review and ensure designs meet USACE/Army requirements.
• Collaborate with DPW leadership and field teams on project packages.
• Develop comprehensive project cost estimations and schedules.
