LAUKOA is seeking a Headquarters Engineering Technician to provide technical designs for facility repair and upgrade projects at Fort Dix, NJ. The role requires strong knowledge of building construction, systems, and energy-efficient design, with experience in preparing project documents and cost estimates.

The position involves cross-collaboration with leadership and field teams, developing comprehensive project packages, and ensuring conformance with USACE standards.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access.
• Proven ability to write technical documents for building projects.
• Knowledge of building construction including foundations, envelopes, roofing, walls, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical designs for facility repair and upgrade projects.
• Review designs for conformance with industry practices and codes.
• Collaborate with leadership and field teams to develop project documents.
• Develop project cost estimates using RSMeans and other data sources.
• Travel to sites to conduct facility evaluations as required.
