Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an experienced Headquarters Engineering Technician to support the 99th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works. You will interpret and apply engineering design principles to facilities repair and upgrades, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and Army requirements.

You will develop technical documents, cost estimates with RSMeans, and coordinate with field teams to deliver scope with energy efficiency in mind. Occasional site visits and travel are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project development or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to produce technical writing for building projects.
• Knowledge of building construction and utilities.
• Experience developing cost estimates and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide project development services and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure designs meet USACE and Army requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership and field teams to develop project documents.
• Prepare comprehensive project cost estimates using RSMeans.
• Travel to sites for facility evaluations when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
