Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Envelope/Roofing Project Lead to join our Naples, FL team. The role focuses on envelope design, roofing analysis, and coordination with architects and clients on performance, durability, and constructability.

The candidate should have 5+ years in building envelope and roofing projects, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong CAD capabilities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. PE/RA or RRO/RRC are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering required.
• Strong expertise in roof shop drawing/submittal review and developing roof replacement scopes.
• Experience with building envelope design in commercial/industrial projects.
• Knowledge of local codes and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Undertake building envelope/roofing design, detailing and analysis.
• Advise architects on enclosure performance, constructability and durability.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for roof projects.
• Develop roof replacement scopes of work for new and existing buildings.
• Conduct field reviews and progress inspections as needed.
• Document reports and maintain project records.
• Mentor staff and manage project teams.
