Facade Today in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks an experienced Building Envelope Project Manager to oversee envelope projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Architectural Engineering background, 10+ years in construction with envelope experience, and at least 3 years of project management; strong knowledge of codes, QA/QC, and field experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field is required; advanced degree or PE/RA is a plus.
• 10+ years of construction experience with building envelope investigation and design; minimum 3 years of project management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and QA/QC for building envelope systems.
• Relevant IIBEC certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building envelope projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, including risk assessment and mitigation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead meetings, provide progress updates, address issues, and guide decision-making.
• Work with junior staff during field work and issuance of deliverables.
