Job summary

Building Engineering-Consultants, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Project Manager or Project Engineer to lead building envelope projects. This local role may require occasional travel to support other branches and markets.

Experience with building enclosure is beneficial and training is provided. The role emphasizes site visits, report generation, construction-spec support, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/construction management or equivalent experience in construction.
• IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC) or EIT certificate are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
• Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
• Producing reports based on investigations.
• Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
• Providing technical support to staff, as required.
• Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
