Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 7+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting or similar.
• Vocational/Technical training certificate preferred.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade as required (Journeyman/Master Electrician or City licenses).
• Universal Technician for CFCs depending on licensure requirements.
• Financial knowledge for budgets, variances, and reporting.
• Familiar with Energy Management Systems and fire alarm systems.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training, personnel development, etc.
• Ensure performance management, coaching, and development through HR processes.
• Coordinate annual scheduling and execution of the Safety Program; ensure 100% compliance.
• Manage operational accounts for the building, including variance reporting and budgets.
• Track utility use, cost, reporting, sub-metering, and variances as directed.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment; identify and resolve issues.
• Assist in maintenance/engineering issues as required and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Maintain Operations Document Library with plans, drawings, schedules, manuals, and warranties.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and engineers; oversee building systems.
