Job summary

Colliers in Minnesota seeks a Lead Building Engineer to ensure maintenance systems run safely and efficiently for clients and properties. You’ll respond to client requests, prioritize work orders, and supervise Building Engineers while implementing preventative maintenance programs.

You’ll build strong relationships with property managers and suppliers, manage inventories and schedules, and conduct regular inspections and alarm tests to minimize downtime and maximize reliability for multiple

Qualifications

• Must have Minnesota 2nd Class Grade C Boiler Operator license
• Refrigeration Universal Recovery Certificate required
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy management systems
• Experience with maintenance software and creating reports

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operating logs for HVAC, fans, meters and complaints
• Ensure building systems and tenant requests are handled cost-effectively
• Assist in annual budgeting and RFP processes for projects
• Understand operating procedures and chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers
