Cousins Properties seeks a Building Engineer - Commercial Office to support on-site maintenance and safe operation of building systems in Tempe, AZ. You will perform minor repairs, monitor energy use, and assist with life-safety systems to ensure reliable facility operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, plus strong communication and customer service skills to work with diverse teams and tenants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in building maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledge of life safety, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and respond to on-call duties.

Responsabilités

• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to HVAC and life safety system calls in a timely manner.
• Inspect and service AHU, chiller, pumps, and related components.
• Document inspections and maintain logs for energy management systems.
