Job summary

Lerch Bates seeks a senior Building Enclosure leader to guide technical direction, standards, and quality across the national practice. You will mentor teams, refine design methodologies, and lead multidisciplinary engagements in building enclosure projects.

You will shape training, oversee complex projects, and travel to client sites nationwide while driving strategic growth and excellence in services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Building Science or related discipline.
• Professional licensure such as PE, RA/AIA, RBEC, RRC, REWC, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of building enclosure consulting/engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in roofing, waterproofing, facades, fenestration, and enclosure systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as national SME for building enclosure engineering and rehabilitation services.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to consultants, engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Establish and improve technical standards, design methodologies, and QA procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop training and implementation plans.
• Conduct technical quality reviews of projects, reports, and deliverables.
• Drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
