LaBeau Collective Talent Partners in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant to lead investigations, assess roofing and facade systems, and develop practical repair strategies for diverse properties.

This role combines technical leadership with project management, client development, and mentorship, offering opportunities to guide teams, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality deliverables within a national engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or equivalent license.
• Strong knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, facades, fenestration, and air/water/thermal/vapor barriers.
• Experience in assessments, forensic investigations, testing, and repair/rehabilitation consulting.
• Ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong technical writing, reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience developing client relationships and supporting business development.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, WUFI, THERM, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure investigations, condition assessments, and performance evaluations for multiple property types.
• Evaluate roofing, waterproofing, exterior walls, facades, fenestration, and barrier systems.
• Review documents, testing data, and histories to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with findings and repair recommendations.
• Oversee development of drawings, specs, repair documents, and bid packages.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors throughout projects.
• Provide oversight on enclosure performance, constructability, and durability.
• Support BECx activities, field testing, and construction QA.
