Zusammenfassung

The Building People is hiring a Senior Building Controls Technician to expand, upgrade or replace building automation hardware and software for smart building infrastructure. The role works independently to meet project requirements, programming, configuring, and testing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.

Responsibilities include designing control system hardware/software, configuring sequences, and collaborating with engineers. 25% travel is required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of experience with programming, startup and commissioning of control systems.
• Niagara N4 certification required.
• Experience with multiple manufacturers of controls is a plus.
• Technical knowledge with installation of controls equipment and ancillary devices.

Aufgaben

• Design and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project plans and contract documents.
• Program projects with varying complexity.
• Troubleshoot networks, databases, and repair programming.
• Collaborate with engineering on system configuration, network, software, graphics, and sequences of operations.
• Develop sequences of operations, graphics, databases, networks, and integrations into third party systems.
• Maintain project documentation and redlines.
• Provide owner training as required by the project.
• Execute system commissioning and functional testing.
• Assist in installation of control hardware.
• Startup and commission new hardware installations.
• Provide project management assistance and interface with customers.
