Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Building Controls Technician to lead programming, configuration and testing of direct digital control (DDC) building automation systems. The role focuses on expansion, upgrades, and replacements for smart building infrastructure, with independent work and frequent travel to Washington D.C.

Qualifications

Requires Niagara N4 certification and experience programming, startup and commissioning of control systems.
Strong knowledge of DDC control theory and HVAC applications.
Experience with BACnet, LON, Modbus and other protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer control system hardware and software programming from project plans and contracts.
Program projects with varying complexity and commission systems.
Troubleshoot networks, databases and modify/repair programming.
