Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational school program graduate or associate’s degree in a technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Knowledge of control theory, building automation systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls.
• Consults with customers, provides field proposals for retrofits and upgrades.
• Manages assigned work to ensure timely, high-quality execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provides sketches and proposals for modifications; assists with layouts and bids.
• Install and modify software and graphics; train customers on operations.
• Communicates with customers on arrival and progress; upsells add-on work.
• Trains technicians and mentors others; compiles final documentation and punch lists.
• Maintains safety standards and coordinates with managers and subcontractors.
