You will develop software, perform commissioning, and provide detailed submittals to ensure proper operation, while coordinating with sales, service teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 8+ years experience.
• Knowledge of control theory, building automation, subsystems.
• Experience with low-voltage building subsystems using industry protocols (e.g., LON, BACnet).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences; strong CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and service complex building control systems.
• Develop software and commissioning procedures to ensure proper operation.
• Prepare drawings, bill of materials, network layouts and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Order materials and track delivery for assigned projects.
• Assist in loading, commissioning, and validation of system functionality.
• Provide field change information for as-built drawings and software.
• Keep management and customers informed of progress and issues.
• Support owner training on total building control system.
• Participate in meetings and pursue cost-effective value engineering.
