NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Controls Specialist to monitor HVAC and building automation, ensuring safe, comfortable facilities while minimizing energy use. The role includes upgrades, programming optimization, training, and ongoing support to the energy management program.

You will lead energy analysis, develop reports, manage a training program for in-house staff (up to 15 bargaining unit employees), and coordinate with teams to plan short- and long-term projects.

Formación

• BA/BS degree in a technical field required.
• 7 years HVAC/building automation installation and service experience required.
• 4 years supervisory experience required.
• Experience with bargaining unit staff preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Energy management: analyze energy use and upgrade HVAC controls for efficiency.
• Develop and manage ongoing training for in-house staff.
• Oversee alarm reduction and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Advance building automation programming, UI mods, and auto-commissioning.
