J.S. Held LLC in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Director to join our Building Consulting team.

This role combines estimating, project leadership, and client collaboration to deliver large-scale restoration and complex assessments. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in restoration/construction estimating, proficiency with Xactimate and related tools, and strong analytical and writing skills to manage high-value files and client relationships.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college or university; or 10 years of demonstrable experience in restoration/construction in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in restoration and/or restoration contracting with insurance projects; scheduling, project management, and estimating.
• Proficiency with Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means or similar estimating software.
• Strong Excel and Word skills with ability to produce high-quality expert reports.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interfaces with clients, adjusters, brokers, insureds, etc.
• Schedules and conducts field inspections and site visits to evaluate scope of work and damage.
• Estimates medium to large commercial and residential projects using Xactimate.
• Documents, reviews, and analyzes contracts, change orders, reports and correspondence.
• Provides technical direction to other consultants and supports their files.
• Collaborates with Business Development Managers to develop new opportunities and nurture client relationships.
