Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or 10 years restoration/estimating experience.
• Experience in restoration/construction within insurance sector.
• Proficient in Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means or similar estimating software.
• Strong writing and verbal communication, able to produce high-quality expert reports.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to meet deadlines while working independently.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and project representatives (adjusters, brokers, insureds, etc.).
• Schedules and performs field inspections and site visits to evaluate scope of work/damage.
• Estimates medium to large commercial and residential projects using Xactimate.
• Documents, reviews, and analyzes contracts, change orders, reports, and related documents.
• Provides technical direction to other consultants and supports their files.
• Collaborates with Business Development Managers to develop new business opportunities.
