Job summary

Duties include keeping records and preparing progress reports, with opportunities to contribute to various construction projects. Candidates must have journey-level experience in building trades, plus one year of inspection or supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Legal Authorization to Work in the United States.
• Two (2) YEARS of journey-level experience in the building construction trades.
• One (1) YEAR of either Building construction inspection work experience or Supervisory work experience over a crew in the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license at time of appointment.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and 70 pounds with assistance or hoisting equipment.
• Substitutions allowed as described in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure construction materials used and check methods employed.
• Inspect erection of false work and concrete forms used.
• Accept or reject concrete forms, equipment and materials per specifications.
• Keep detailed records of work and materials.
• Prepare routine inspection reports.
• Prepare monthly progress reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
