Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Construction, or a closely related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience as an architect, engineer, building inspector, building contractor, or building superintendent, including five (5) years in a supervisory capacity.
• Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Directs the County's Building Code Program and performs skilled administrative work.
• Supervises technical, professional, and clerical personnel in the Building Code Program.
