Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Service Specialist to support our Chantilly, VA area. You will perform assigned tasks on building automation systems, respond to emergency service calls, and work with cross-functional service teams to keep systems operating efficiently and safely.

The role requires 3+ years in preventive maintenance and diagnostics of BMS with open protocols such as BACnet/Modbus, plus the ability to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with preventive maintenance and diagnostics of building automation systems.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP networking.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts, programming, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in diverse conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to overtime and on-call as needed.
• English communication skills; 18+ with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Coordinate with internal service teams and RAM Digital Service Center.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and service documentation.
• Provide customer training and report system discrepancies.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours service.
