Job summary

Siemens in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Service Senior Sales Executive to support our Service Agreements within the Smart Buildings Automation Controls Service team. You will be an ambassador of Siemens technology, building strong customer relationships and driving service sales in large commercial facilities.

You will spend about half your time in customer-facing activities, with 1–2 days weekly in the office for strategy sessions and teamwork. Expect ~10% overnight travel as territory requires.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience in building automation, commercial mechanical HVAC, and/or energy services.
• Must be able to demonstrate financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently.
• On-the-job exposure to account development and strategic sales skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve new order and profit goals based on assigned quota for service projects and service agreements.
• Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitors, customers, and decision influencers in the region.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets and develop go-to-market strategies.
• Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization to recommend services.
• Travel as required to meet with customers and support sales activities (roughly 10% overnight).
