Job summary

Veregy is seeking a senior-level Building Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize building automation systems for commercial facilities. You will help reduce energy consumption, write control sequences, and support project teams from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold a 4-year engineering degree with 15+ years in building automation, Niagra AX/N4 certification, and CAD/3D modeling proficiency. Chilled water knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or software) from a four-year college/university; or ten+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years in building automation system design and implementation required.
• Chilled water systems knowledge preferred.
• Tridium Niagara AX / N4 certification required.
• Knowledge of and experience with CAD or 3D modeling software required.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Writes and optimizes building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility efficiency.
• Assists project teams with the creation of design and construction documents as they relate to building automation systems and other Veregy technology products.
• Troubleshoots low voltage circuitry in the field and verifies that functional requirements are met.
• Responds to and rectifies customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.
