Job summary

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking an experienced budget professional to lead complex fiscal operations and oversee the budget for Headquarters, State Operated Services, and Capital Outlay programs. You will help shape the Department’s budget planning, analysis, and fiscal strategy while supporting departmental priorities.

• Experience overseeing complex budget operations, including budget development, fiscal analysis, and expenditure monitoring.
• Ability to lead, analyze, and make fiscal recommendations under competing priorities.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget preparation, development, and control for HQ, SOSD, and CO budgets.
• Lead budget analysis, projections, and monitoring to support departmental priorities.
