Job summary

The Judicial Council of California invites applications for the Senior Fiscal Analyst in the State Budget unit. This role provides advanced budget support for the Facilities Services Capital Outlay program, overseeing capital project budgets and ongoing close-out activities.

Responsibilities include statewide budget reporting, grant management for capital outlay, COBCPs review, and bond sale coordination. Hybrid work with in-office days in San Francisco or Sacramento, CA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field with 4 years of budgetary/financial experience.
• JD/MBA or related master’s with 1 year of applicable experience may substitute for degrees.
• 1 year as Fiscal Analyst in Judicial Council or similar government entity may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced budget support for the State Budget unit and Capital Outlay program.
• Perform monthly fiscal forecasting by project, appropriation, and category of expense.
• Review and code requisitions, COBCPs, and five-year capital outlay plans.
• Manage bond sale process and prepare budget documents and displays.
