Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking a Budget Systems Supervisor to lead the Budget Systems unit within FOD. You will direct establishment, maintenance, reporting, and control of budget systems applications and tools across DHS and partner agencies.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with MMB and use ATLAS for budget planning, reporting, and compliance with state and federal requirements, ensuring data integrity across multiple DHS applications.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supervisory roles.
• Experience in government accounting, finance, or budget.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience presenting information and training to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Exercise supervisory authority so that labor agreements are equitably administered and staff perform duties to meet goals.
• Supervise, direct, and assist with current and new FOD application initiatives.
• Coordinate with MMB Center of Excellence and DHS use of ATLAS for budgeting and reporting.
• Develop and coordinate agency-wide reporting initiatives per statute, CFO requests, or other needs.
• Lead with the Enterprise-wide Leader Competency Model: Leading Self/Others/Organization/Outside/Getting Work Done.
