Job summary

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) seeks a Senior Budget Analyst to join the Fiscal team. You will research, analyze, and monitor budgets, preparing projections for annual and biennial submissions and providing insights for decision-making.

You will collaborate with program staff, ensure quality in model development and data collection, review performance indicators, and respond to audits and legislative proposals as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years' budgeting experience including fiscal management and control with quantitative/statistical analysis.
• Undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration with 24 months' experience in fiscal management and control with quantitative/statistical analysis.
• Graduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration with 12 months' experience in fiscal management and control with quantitative/statistical analysis.
• 12 months' experience as Budget Analyst, 63261, or equivalent of education/experience per Minimum Class Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and monitor budgets and allocations for agency programs.
• Prepare projections and analysis for annual and biennial budgets and models.
• Develop evaluation tools and methodologies for budget and program assessment.
• Prepare monthly program and budget reports and advise management on actions.
