ACET, Inc. seeks aJunior Budget Analyst to join the financial management team supporting the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Patuxent River.

In this foundational role, you will assist with the financial execution and tracking of program funds, ensuring budget submissions are accurate and fully compliant with DoD regulations to sustain naval aviation capabilities. Qualifications

DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance eligibility required.
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
0–3 years of finance, budgeting, or data analysis experience preferred.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) and willingness to learn DoD financial management systems.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate budget estimates for completeness and compliance with DoD regulations.
Monitor, analyze, and reconcile budgets and accounting reports to track execution metrics.
Identify discrepancies in financial tracking and assist senior analysts in resolving variances.
Compile and organize financial justification data for program reviews and briefings.
