Sunflower Bank, N.A. seeks a BSA AML Analyst III in our Dallas, TX location to ensure due diligence and compliance with AML/KYC regulations across the enterprise.

In this lead-level role, you will clear AMS alerts, conduct SAR investigations, mentor junior analysts as needed, and apply bank policies with discretion while supporting audits and regulatory examinations. Qualifications

• The applicant must have extensive knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, Money Laundering Control Act, OFAC regulations, and related enforcement policies.
• The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar, with consideration for significant banking experience in lieu of a degree.
• The applicant should have at least two years of experience within a BSA, Fraud, and/or Audit environment.
• The applicant should have professional certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CPA, CIA, CRCM, or PMP.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to applicable federal and state AML laws and guidance (BSA, US PATRIOT Act, FFIEC BSA/AML Manual).
• Demonstrate extensive banking and compliance knowledge in AML/KYC issues and identify suspicious patterns.
• Maintain knowledge of BSA and OFAC regulations; monitor developments and report to management.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML laws and communicate non-compliance.
• Assist in achieving satisfactory audit/exam results and remediation of findings.
• Partner with lines of business to ensure policy adherence and act as a BSA resource.
• Maintain internal documents (work instructions, FAQs) and participate in BSA areas as needed.
• Use deep investigative methods to identify risks on complex cases.
